A Family farm since 1985

At Goebbert's Farm, our mission is to create memorable, authentic farm experiences rooted in family, tradition, and hard work. As a family-owned and operated farm, we take pride in sharing the joy of the harvest, the beauty of the land, and the values that have guided us for generations—honesty, hospitality, and a deep respect for agriculture. We welcome every guest like family and strive to connect our community to the farm in fun, meaningful ways.

Our Mission

Where it all began

george goebbert opened a roadside vegetable stand in Arlington Heights in 1948

In 1972, his son Jim moved the family to a 40-acre farm in South Barrington, where his three children began selling pumpkins. One Saturday in 1973, pumpkin sales got so busy that Jim closed the Arlington Heights stand to help out—and that’s how our Fall Festival began!

In 1985, we expanded to a second location in Pingree Grove, where we now grow all of our flowers, produce, and pumpkins. In 2017, we grew our farm even more by planting an apple orchard. Today, we are celebrating our 40th year in business, and the Pingree Grove location is run by Lloyd Goebbert, along with his wife Terry, their son Jacob, and their son James—continuing the Goebbert family legacy across generations.
